If talks prove to be fruitful, EXO's Sehun will make his film debut in 'The Pirates: Goblin Flag.' It is the sequel to the 2014 film 'The Pirates' which starred Son Ye-jin.
SM Entertainment has confirmed that EXO member Sehun is in talks to join the upcoming period adventure film The Pirates: Goblin Flag.
This was in response to earlier reports which said that Sehun has already bagged the lead role for the movie which will see him play a handsome pirate who is good with a bow and arrow.
"It's true that Sehun has received an offer to appear in 'The Pirates: Goblin Flag' (literal title). He is positively considering the offer but nothing has been decided yet," a representative from the agency said as translated by English language Korean entertainment site Soompi.
Should the talks prove to be fruitful, the movie would mark Sehun's big-screen debut.
He has previously acted in web series like Dokgo Rewind, Secret Queen Makers and EXO Next Door.
Filming for the movie is set to begin in late July once the casting has been finalized.
Other actors attached to the project include Kwon Sang-woo, Running Man star and Sehun's Busted castmate Lee Kwang-soo and 2020 Baeksang Arts Awards Best TV Actor Kang Ha-neul.
The Pirates: Goblin Flag is the sequel to hit 2014 period adventure film The Pirates which starred Crash Landing on You star Son Ye-jin.
